Questions
  • Q Do you have a shower at the facility?
    A

We do not have showers at the facility because showering right after a sweat is counterintuitive. In fact, sweat science proves that showering before your body cools down will cut sauna benefits in half! Similar to a cool down stretch after a workout, sweating benefits are maximized when the body reaches homeostasis on its own. Moreover, letting your body cool itself down is how you burn so many calories. Therefore, showering at home provides your body the allotted time it needs to achieve the best sweat results.

  • Q What will my experience be like?
    A

Have you ever wanted to curl up inside of a warm cloud that smells like sunshine? It’s like that.

  • Q What clothes are best to wear to my appointment?
    A

Bring loose-fitting clothes that are easy to put on while damp. It's difficult to pull up your leggings or skinny jeans while your legs are wet.

  • Q Will I be wearing my clothes in the sauna?
    A

Sweating in your “birthday suit” or swimsuit is encouraged since chromotherapy works best when the infrared lights shine directly on your skin.

  • Q What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
    A

No skin products—lotion, perfume, or oil— should be used before starting your session. Makeup also needs to be removed before breaking a sweat. Hydrating before and after the process is crucial to your health. If you forget to pregame, our juice bar has you covered with a variety of purchasable beverages that will replace the sodium, potassium, and other minerals lost to sweat.

  • Q What’s the best sweat color for me?
    A

Chromotherapy can help treat the following ailments:
    Red: Stiffness, Arthritis, Colds
Orange: Menstrual Cramps, Inflammation, Sinus Issues
    Yellow: Scarring, Eczema, Exhaustion
    Green: Depression, Headaches, Nervousness
    Blue: Anxiety, Sleep Issues, Acne
Violet: Cramps, Diseases of the Nervous System, Tumors

  • Q How long is the sweat experience?
    A

30 minutes of relaxation away from all the noise and clutter outside the box.

  • Q Is the wood in your sauna sealed?
    A

Our saunas are treated with a water-based, non-volatile sealer. It's a special treatment made specifically for our state-of-the-art saunas to make them cleaner between uses. As a result, our saunas are far more hygienic than saunas with untreated wood.

  • Q Will I be able to use my phone?
    A

A sweat session is meant to bring relaxation and balance to your life, which is difficult to do while connected to the outside world. For this reason, phones must be kept out of the sauna.

  • Q What temperatures can I sweat in?
    A

Our boxes provide over 150 degrees of sweat. However, you are in control of your sweat experience and can turn down the heat anytime you like.

  • Q What are the benefits of infrared chromolighting?
    A

    • Increases detoxification
    • Burns off upward of 600 calories
    • Relieves aches
    • Increases serotonin
    • Reduces wrinkles

  • Q What do I do once my sweat session is over?
    A

Our relaxation station is a wonderful place to visit with friends while your body continues to cool down and sweat. Complimentary purified water is provided.

  • Q Should I be concerned about "outgassing"?
    A

Our saunas are treated with a non-VOC (volatile organic compounds) sealant, which means outgassing will never be a problem. The sealer is water-based and tested to be 100% safe.
